Highland Beef Farms was born in 1975 in the Highlands of Appalachia overlooking the Shenandoah Mountains in Western Virginia.
The company began as a cattle farm, specializing in all natural mountain raised grain fed beef.
As you can see through all the pictures displayed on every web page, the farm continues to be a working farm today still raising cattle.
From this humble, pastoral beginning, the company has expanded into a number of new areas to become a major purveyor of premium quality nutritious shelf stable meat and cheese snacks.
